Ride the wave

With some of the most magnificent surfing beaches on the South Coast NSW, you're sure to find your favourite break. Learning to surf? Kiama has some of the perfect spots for catching your first wave. Nearby Seven Mile Beach is one of the best spots for learning to surf in Australia, where the kids are sure to have fun in the sun. The region offers a variety of Surf Schools that offer lessons with qualified surf instructors, all whilst teaching your children important lessons surrounding surf safety.

For those looking for a little less action, or something no waves, why not try stand-up paddle boarding? Nearby Minnamurra River is a crowd favourite for beginners and those looking to relax on calmer waters.
